G-Star ridden by Noah Brook and owned by Paul and Paula Crompton of Event Yorkshire, topped the four-year-old section of this year’s Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse final. The flashy bay, a Dutch-bred gelding by the jumping stallion Namelus R, also the sire of Ben Mahers former Olympic jumper Tripple X, perhaps not surprisingly due to his breeding, gained the highest marks in the jumping phase and then proved a model of consistency in the other sections.
It has been a great month for 22-year-old Noah, from Nottinghamshire, who came to the fore at Gatcombe four weeks ago when he was the inaugural winner of the Corinthian Cup, awarded in the new amateur section. His ride there, Deo Volente III, also owned by Event Yorkshire.
“Using Nupafeed MAH Liquid Calmer every day and MAH Concentrated Syringes on competition day has completely transformed Deo Volente’s performance. He is still extravagant with his paces but is more focussed on the job at hand and has gone from strength to strength on Nupafeed. Having had so much success with Deo Volente, we have also used Nupafeed products on our 4 year old young event horse G-Star who is extremely talented and finds his job easy but scares himself by spooking at his own shadow. Nupafeed has helped us manage his outlook on life. We cannot recommend these products highly enough!” Paul Crompton
