Another Easter weekend gone in a whirlwind and another fabulous British Dressage Winter Championships has come to a close.
The Nupafeed Advanced Medium Freestyle title went to Nikki Crisp and the awesome Durable with 75.83%
Co-owned with Viv Gleave, Durable is a 9yr old stallion by Speilberg. His huge paces and Nikki’s original routine certainly deserved the judge’s attention!
“He’s amazing… I think they broke the mould when they made this one, he’s exactly the same at home as he is at shows. He’s a completely cool customer” said Nikki.
This year, Nupafeed were excited to be the first sponsor to also introduce an award for the winning groom. We speak to countless head girls and head lads who work tirelessly to keep everything running like clockwork, so adding this prize was a no brainer for us!
And so Claire Young took her place in the ring beside Durable. Nikki could not praise Claire enough, “She’s massively important to my team! She turns out immaculately and has huge attention to detail. My horses really like her and she takes a huge amount of pressure off me.”
Nupafeed would like to congratulate Nikki and all of our competitors who made it such a strong class!
